The 27-1A90 is an air bearing turbine used to drive paint atomizing bell cups at very high rotational speeds (on the order of 80,000 rpm).  Utilizing carbon bearing technology, the housing of the motor is constructed of high strength aircraft grade aluminum.  All other components are constructed of stainless steels or perflouroelastomeric materials.
